When serious illness strikes a family
member, no words can describe the emotional roller coaster
it creates, particularly when the victim is one’s child.
Sometimes, as a result, the families of these children may
experience emergency situations and lack the financial resources
necessary. The Danberry Treasure Chest has been able to help
provide funds to families in times of need.

Our
2008 charity event benefiting The Toledo Children's Hospital Foundation
was another great success, generating nearly $30,000 for the Danberry
Treasure Chest. Our next dinner auction has tentatively been set
for October 15, 2009.
This is not a one-time event, and there
are lots of ways you can help!
Our charity dinner is an annual event, but the need for aid exists
365 days a year. Fortunately, the opportunity to help out
always exists as well. Here are just a few ways that you
can pitch in to help so many kids with chronic illnesses and their
families:
- If you are entertaining or looking for
a nice gift to take to a friend, why not consider a nice wine? Thanks to an
ongoing commitment of support from The Andersons, you can pick
up our private label “Danberry Treasure Chest” wines
at The Andersons’ Talmadge Road store. Every bottle
or case purchased will generate a donation to the cause.
- Our dinner auction is an annual event, so we are always looking
for nice items or services that can be sold at our next live
or silent auctions. If you have something you can donate,
please call Mary Jo Archer at 419-531-4372 or email her at marcher@danberry.com.
- And of course, direct contributions are
greatly appreciated.

Chest and other philanthropic options, please contact Mary Jo Archer
